FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why would I want a bespoke suit?

Every man and woman should have bespoke suits in their collection. Bespoke suits make you more confident. These suits are individually made for the wearer and delicately handcrafted to fit perfectly. Everyone can own a masterpiece with our elegant and luxurious collection, at a price that suits your budget.

Are alterations included in the cost?

Yes, all alterations are free* when it comes to our bespoke garments.

How long does it take to make?

You can expect your shirts and suits to be made and ready to try on within 6 weeks guaranteed. We also have an express service which is within 4 weeks*.

What is the difference between Bespoke and Made-to-Measure?

Bespoke in tailoring means the garments are designed from a bare canvas using the measurements taken individually from clients. The measurements are then used to cut out the pattern. This cut out pattern is then laid to cut the fabric chosen by the client.
Made-to-measure means the garments are made from a standard pattern that is then altered to suit the client.

Do I have to buy a whole suit?

No, you can buy any part on its own, perhaps to coordinate with an existing item you already own. You can order trousers, waistcoats, overcoats or jackets by themselves, or as part of a suit. Contact us or book an appointment to visit and let's talk through all the options available.

What can I expect from my visiting tailor?

Our friendly, experienced tailors will use their wealth of knowledge to advise you on how to best achieve the finished product which you desire. Remember, this is your suit and we are here to create your idea.

How do I pay?

There is no call-out charge whatsoever for one of our tailors to visit you. You can pay by any credit, cheque, debit card or cash. Our tailors carry portable credit card machines with them, if you wish to pay by credit or debit card.

How many fittings will I require?

Two. The first fitting, which we will go through your initial measurements, cloth, detailing and styling of the garment. The final fitting will take place when the suit is finished. If your suit requires any further alterations, these will be completed within 48 hours.

Where do the fabrics come from?

We source from only English, Scottish and Italian mills (and English, Italian or Egyptian cotton for our shirts). However, there is the option to make a special order request for a cloth, or supply a suitable fabric of your own.
